Toughened glass also called tempered glass. It is produced a compression stress on the surface of glass use the method of chemistry or physics. It makes the glass have higher compression strength and hard to be damage. When glass offered the external force, the compression stress bears offset part of tension stress, to avoid the broken of glass. Although the inside of tempered glass is at tension stress, it is flawless, and wont be damage so as to improve the strength of glass.
