Flat glass is unprocessed plate glass products. According the production method, flat glass can be divided into sheet glass and float glass. flat glass is a kind of building glass which is minimum production and use most. It mainly use in windows and doors for lighting (visible transmittance is 85% or 90%), palisade, heat insulation, sound insulation and so on.

According to the different usage, plate glass can be divided into windows glass and decorative glass.  

 

SPECIFICATION:

Sheet glass(clear sheet glass, tinted sheet glass, mirror glass):

Thickness: from 1.5mm to 8mm

Size below:2440*1830mm

Colour: clear, grey, green, brown.

 

Float glass(clear float glass, tited float glass, reflective glass, float mirror glass)

Thickness: from 4mm to 12mm

Size below: 3660*2440mm

Colour: Dark grey, light grey, jewelry blue, ford blue, dark green, light green, brown, pink

 

FUNCTION

The usages of plate glass: flat glass thickness is 1.5-2mm used for the photo frame, mirror glass,ect;flat glass thickness is 3~5mm used for lighting of windows and doors. flat glass thickness is 8~12mm used for separation. Another important usage: plate glass is the original sheet glass for tempered glass, laminated glass, reflective glass, insulating glass and so on.
